Originally from Rochester, NY, I became a film buff at a young age and developed a strong interest in filmmaking. This led me to enroll at NYU’s prestigious Tisch School of the Arts where I was a Film and Television major. There I was exposed to and got experience in all facets of production, from producing and directing short films to writing screenplays to editing; the craft that I would find a career in.
After graduating from NYU, I elected to stay in New York City and began working as a Freelance Assistant Editor in 2005. I quickly began making my transition to Editor, working a mix of Editor and AE jobs until I landed a Staff Editor position on the Emmy award-winning ‘The Dr. Oz Show’ where I worked on Seasons 1-4. I have since relocated to Los Angeles where I have been working on the hit CBS daytime talk show ‘The Talk,’ for which I received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Multi-Camera Editing.
